Green For Green partners with the Colorado flower industry to raise awareness and funds for multiple green initiatives. These initiatives include supporting Colorado parks, promoting recycling, and endorsing sustainable energy research and development.
Green For Green supports these green initiatives in multiple ways. For every dollar donated, 80 cents is given to maintain and protect Colorado's parks and further sustainable energy research and development. Furthermore, Green For Green supports these initiatives by giving 15% of its profits from every product available in our online store (coming soon). This support is a key investment for Colorado’s natural beauty and together we can create a greener world. We recognize the increased use of these public spaces and energy and the imminent need for collaboration, conservation, and preservation for the future of our planet.
Green For Green creates, provides, and maintains a direct recycling network for flower containers. By enabling and supporting direct recycling of the flower containers, Green For Green and flower lovers can create a greener footprint for the Colorado flower industry. We can reduce waste compared to the normal recycling process by cutting down on energy required to sort and send the containers to the correct location. Furthermore, if the containers don’t have to be melted down and shaped into other products we can eliminate all the waste associated with this energy intensive process.
Green For Green believes that together with flower lovers we can create a positive image for flower culture. The flower industry has been wasteful and has had a negative connotation associated with it. We want to change this perspective and create a better image for the flower industry. With this movement Green For Green hopes that more people will appreciate flower for the wonderful plant that it is and discover its many rich benefits. This movement is what the world needs to accept flower on all levels so we can see it adopted everywhere to improve everyone’s livelihood.
